Today I introduce you my “Newest Blumeli”: Annabelle. 

She is the first Blumeli made with wool, so I’m particularly proud of her…;))))…: 

a woolen flower necklace that turns in a cheerful belt !!!!!

“Blumeli Shots Gallery” - 1

Few days ago I asked you to send me pictures of my Blumeli around the world 

for my new Photo Gallery.

I told you about a new project and here is my  Blumeli Shots Gallery!!!!

I have to say a big Thanks to Silvia. She is so nice and sent me four shots of her Blumeli Lili§1 two days ago. So here you can see my first Blumeli Shots poster!!!!!..;))))

I love so much my Blumeli and seeing your pictures of them makes me so happy. 
They are no just cotton flowers, they are much more.

Each of them has an own tag with a name and one code, a symbol "§" followed by a number!!!

Below you can see the tag that Silvia has received with her Blumeli.

Lili §1 is the first of several Lili and I will do the same for your Rufus, Heidi, Yuri...Lara

Let's play with My Blumeli Collection!!!!! 
It's fun. Seriously!!!!!!

I can't stop taking shots of them in the real world, they are so funny.

And I'm quite sure you will do the same soon...;))))!!!!

It would be a pleasure to share your shots of my Blumeli and follow them around the world!!!!

Here is how to join My Blumeli Shots Gallery as fan:

1- Have fun with your Blumeli !!!!! If you don't have one yet, you can find them in my shop Sara Arts at Da Wanda.

2- Take four pictures of your new friend, my Blumeli of course..;))): at home, around your place, on Holidays,....!!! Resize your photos so they are less than 150KB in size.

3 - Write me using my contact page and submit your images with: your Blumeli name, its code, the location. I will post them as poster on my blog and my Blumeli Shots Gallery on my Flickr.  Just write something like this in your mail: " Silvia and Lili §1 in Madrid", as Silvia did. So I can put it as caption!!!!! 
Don’t forget to allow me to use your pictures, I need your permit written by mail. If they are public let me know about, I will add the link to your poster or as caption.

I will publish a post with a poster of your shots on my blog and add it in my “Blumeli Shots Gallery" on my Flickr as soon as possible.

If you are a fan and have a blog/site, here is how you might do:

1- Have fun with your Blumeli, first of all !!!!! If you don't have one yet, you can find them in my shop Sara Arts at Da Wanda.

2- Take four pictures of your new friend, my Blumeli of course..;))): at home, around your place, on Holidays,....!!! If you are an artist or crafter it would be great to see pictures of your creations and my Blumeli. Resize your photos so they are less than 150KB in size.

3- Create a poster titled "Blumeli Shots Gallery" with your four Blumeli Shots, your Blumeli Name and your blog name. You can add your own logo, if you have one. Here a sample.

4- Publish a post in which you mention somewhere you join the Sara Art Studio's Blumeli Shots Gallery and display one of my Blumeli Shots Gallery buttons, click the images below and grab the HTML code from their Flickr pages. (feel free to mail me for info and help!!)

4- Submit your post link by mail (click HERE).

Note  Sara Arts reserves the right to refuse links to sites not related to its own theme/purpose or discart  images if not supporting its blog and flickr group content. Thank you for your understanding.

I will publish a post with your poster on my blog and add it in my “Blumeli Shots Gallery" on my Flickr linking back to your blog/site as soon as possible.

Today at 9.13am I was in the post office for Rufus §1 and Lara, in blue and white. 

They are moving to their new Sweet home!!!!! 

Now a friend among you is waiting for them..;)))))))

Oggi esattamente alle 9.13  ho spedito il pacchettino contenete Rufus §1 e Lara, la deliziosa collana interamente in cotone blu e bianca. Raggiungeranno la loro nuova casa prestissimo!!!!! Dove qualcuno tra voi li sta aspettando impaziente..;))))))

Sono così felice ed non vedo l'ora di sapere se il viaggio è andato bene. Spero di ricevere presto loro notizie e foto, sarebbe stupendo vederli nella loro nuova città, in vacanza...o dove li porterà il cuore....!!!!...;))))

Il mio prossimo progetto è quello di inaugurare qui sul blog una pagina con una Galleria di Foto interamente dedicata a “My Blumeli around the world”!!!!!

How to edit and install a Favicon!!!! Come creare e installare una favicon!!!!

Today I would like to share how to create a favicon and how to put it beside a blog address.

A Favicon is a little icon that appears next to your website address after you install it. I did it yesterday and now I love so much my “Blumeli – Heidi” next to my blog address and at the top of the folder!!!

If you work with Blogger you can go from your Dashboard to Design. At the real top of your Page Element you will find the Edit Gadget for a favicon, now you have just to edit it. Follow the guide from step 1 to step 4.

If you do not use Blogger, doesn’t matter!!!.....follow this guide and jump from step 3 to 5.

1-      Find a picture that you like to turn in your fantastic and unique favicon. Take care: the picture must be squared and not to big.

2-      Create a favicon file; you can do it going to this website. You will find a “Favicon free generator” on the right. You have just to upload your favorite picture and it does all the work. (For best results, please follow all the instruction you will find there.)

3-      The generator converts your file in favicon.ico and you will have to choose between two options: Direct Download, you download the new file (favicon.ico) or Direct Link you let the website hosting the favicon for you.

4-      If you use Blogger and want to edit it with the Favicon Gadget window, you have to download the file and then to upload it in the window from your Browser. 

5-      If you don’t use Blogger or want the website does all the work…;)))) just choose the second option to host the favicon: Direct Link.

6-      The generator gives you a HTML code

7-      Simply copy and past it in your HTML Template. Be careful!!!! The best thing to do is to download Full Template before changing it. (In Blogger you must go to Design then Edit HTML, it is next to Page Element. When you are there: first download full Template, then you will work in the Edit Template window.

You have to look for this line:

<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>

Then paste the text you copied before and save the new Template.

That is all!!! The first option is easy, but Blogger could take time to display your favicon. The second option is a little bit tricky, but it works immediately!!!!

Oggi voglio condividere con voi come inserire una favicon (Icona preferita...mi piace un sacco questa traduzione italiana!!!!!) vicino al vostro indirizzo web. L’ho fatto ieri e mi sono divertita un sacco, senza contare quanto mi è piace ora vedere il mio “Blumeli - Heidi” in vetta al Blog...;)))))))....Sempre piu’ in altooooooooo!!!!

Se create il vostro blog con Blogger dovete navigare dalla Bacheca fino a Design. Arrivate nella “Elementi Pagina” trovate in alto a sinistra “Icona Preferita”. Cliccando su modifica potete creare la vostra Favicon (Icona Preferita). Seguite la guida dal punto 1 al punto 4.

Se invece non usate Blogger, non scoraggiatevi...seguite la guida saltando il punto 4, vedrete sarà un successo!!!

1-      Scegliete una immagine che vi piace e che volete trasformare nella vostra Icona Favorita. Attenzione: l’immagine deve essere quadrata e non troppo grande (meno di 1MB)

2-      Adesso dovete creare un file favicon.ico. Per farlo potete andare in questo sito web http://www.iconj.com/. Troverete un Generatore di Favicon gratuito sulla destra. Caricate la vostra immagine e lui farà tutto il lavoro.

3-      Il generatore converte l’immagine in un file favicon.ico e una volta fatto dovete scegliere tra due opzioni: Direct Download scaricate il nuovo file sul vostro computer oppure Direct Link il sito crea direttamente il codice HTML per la vostra favicon.

4-      Se usate Blogger e volete usare il relativo gadget per inserire la vostra Favicon scegliete la prima opzione. Scaricate il file e Cliccando su modifica in “Icona Preferita” potete caricare il file favicon.ico

5-      Se non usate Blogger o preferite che il sito faccia tutto il lavoro...;)))) scegliete la seconda opzione: Direct Link.

6-      Il generatore vi ha creato il codice HTML.

7-      Dovete semplicemente copiare il codice ed inserirlo nel Testo HTML del vostro sito. Attenzione!!!! Per sicurezza salvate una copia del Testo HTML del vostro sito prima di modificarlo. ( Per chi ha Blogger andate in “Modifica Modello”, di fianco a Elementi Pagina. Scaricate il modello e poi lavorate nella finestra “Modifica Modello” )

Dovete cercare la riga:

       <title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>

       Adesso trasferite il codice copiato, salvate il modello....ed il gioco è fatto!!!!!

La prima opzione per Blogger è piu’ semplice, ma a volte bisogna aspettare un po’ prima di vedere comparire la nostra favolosa “Icona Preferita”...;((((

La seconda opzione, invece, è subito attiva!!!!!!

Buon divertimento, spero sia utile!!!!!!!!...soprattutto la versione italiana!!!!...è cosi’ difficile trovare tutorials nella nostra lingua madre!!!!!!...aihmè.....;)))))

Where is the Summer????

Hi, how are you?  I’m fine, but I have not prepared my luggage yet 

and in four hour I must go…ahhhhh….

Jody §1 and her sister are bored to stay at home, they like usually to lie on the bed and wait for me…but the sun is not so hot in this period and they start being noisy..;(((((..So we must go!!!!!

I am glad to introduce my Blumeli, handsome little flowers, as you can see. 

They are born just a week ago……..

I was crocheting a pin to wear with my spring jacket, when I saw Jody §1!!!!

Then Rufus §1 came for my black sweater…and now here we are..;)))))))

 Sono felicissima ed emozionata nel presentarvi i miei Blumeli, 

fiorellini piccoli e simpatici, come potete vedere.

Sono nati solo la scorsa settimana....

Stavo lavorando all'uncinetto, per creare una spilla da indossare con la mia giacca primaverile...

quando ho visto Jody §1!!!!!

Poi Rufus §1 è arrivato per accompagnare il mio golfino nero...

ed ora eccoci qui...;)))))))
