My new project: a Lovely Tablecloth - part I

Hi All,

A great Monday to everyone!!!

Yesterday evening I started this new project, I am really happy of that.

Usually the patterns, I use, are designed by me. 

Few times I follow patterns I have found and liked more.

Sara Arts -  Crocheted Tablecloth (Part I)

Six months ago I saw an image of a red Tablecloth 

in an old Crochet Magazine

 and immediately it was on my “to do list”!!!

Yesterday evening I decided to realize personally the gift 

I will give to a special couple,  friends of mine...

and this Tablecloth is what I would like to realize for them!!!!   

So I started crocheting and here the images of the first day at work!!!!

Instead the red , I use a pale yellow yarn….

 I like it more…Here the first two flowers…

The Magazine in which I have found it belongs to 

“Cucirini Coats” company .  

The one I have at home is extremely old!!!! 

 Today I was curious to discover if they are still alive, well I am sure they are, 

because I use their yarns to sew, but I have no idea 

if they publish still magazines or have a web site.

with soft and warm grey wool and decorated with red metal yarn and gold beads...

This will be the New Entry

Annabelle, my first woolen Blumeli!!!!

Today I introduce you my “Newest Blumeli”: Annabelle. 

She is the first Blumeli made with wool, so I’m particularly proud of her…;))))…:

Old Postcards...

Hi, How are you? 

I’m fine, even if the weather is not good…it might snow Today!!!!

 

Yesterday I finished late my daily to do list, but I was not sleepy. 

So I decided to write my post about my Istanbul Collection…;O...

but in the end I have started looking my Postcards Collection and I found 
the ones bought in Turkey!!!!

I had one journey there few years ago…and I remember with pleasure my stay. I did a Tour of Cappadocia and stopped for a while by Istanbul. I visited almost everything, but I will come back for sure to spend much more days in Istanbul……. 

If you like you might visit the Official Tourism Portal, you will find interesting Photos Galleries..and lots info, link ..all you need to discouver this country...;)))...I hope you will find it usefull!

I went in Turkey for Holidays, then…and as I love to do in that occasion I bought some Postcards….

I look at them not often, but I like to thing they are there in my drawer. 

I enjoyed so much the food, the atmosphere…and colours….

and seeing again my Turkish Postcards is great. They recall to me several sweet moments 

with my fellow travelers, Thanks guys!!!!!!

I use to say that some of my memories of Turkey are blue!!!!! …

I suppose the reason is that The Blue Mosque should have caught all my attention!!!

 

I remember some places and particulars of this Holidays with a softer blue filter. 

I like this effect, it makes them look romantic and unique to me..;))))…

Inspired by Casablanca….

On Monday I listed part of my Fall Winter Collection on Sara Arts Web Shop.

This Summer I enjoyed so much my Holidays and at home I started immediately planning my next one….in order not to waste time…obviously….!!!!...;)))))

So…crocheting my Collars and Brooches…. sitting on my Sofa….enjoying the latest Summer days 
I was dreaming about Casablanca. Have you never been there? 

The green wool yarn, I have crocheted with…, drives my imagination to Morocco and its colours. 

In my dreams I am travelling around Morocco, 

dressed like in this photo…;))))…seriously…, ones in Casablanca...

Let's go there for holidays, then!!!!!!.... 

This is the reason why I call creations made with this colour Casablanca..;)))

it could be my next Holidays destination!!!!
