Hi Folks,

I would like to send “many Thanks” to all of you that follow me, love my work and 

are been so kind to vote Sara Art Sudio as “The Best Creative Blog of the Week #9”. 

And to do so I will open my lab and show you how one of my newest creation is born!!!! 

Usually I am a bit shy to share images of “me at work”, but 

the story of my crochet landscape is so cute !!!!

Sara Arts - Crochet landscape in a frame

 

On Saturday I have found in a drawer the blue frame I bought two years ago. 

And I had the idea to realize a landscape with crochet appliqués!!!!!   

I started and worked at the patterns…. I love to spend hours to try 

and design with yarn and hook my own appliqués.

Then I played with them on the canvas, as you can see now in the storyboard overlying.

Once sure about how to arrange the appliqués on the cotton fabric....

STEP 1: I fixed them first with simple stitches. I hand-knitted with white thread.

To make this step easier it's possible to iron the appliqués on the fabric

(read how to do it here...D.I.Y: How to sew an appliqué)

STEP 2: I switched on my sewing machine and cruised carefully with zig-zag stitches

in order to fix the work color by colour on the fabric

Three lovely helpers for Christmas

“Blumeli Shots Gallery” - 1

Few days ago I asked you to send me pictures of my Blumeli around the world 

for my new Photo Gallery.

I told you about a new project and here is my  Blumeli Shots Gallery!!!!

I have to say a big Thanks to Silvia. She is so nice and sent me four shots of her Blumeli Lili§1 two days ago. So here you can see my first Blumeli Shots poster!!!!!..;))))

I love so much my Blumeli and seeing your pictures of them makes me so happy. 
They are no just cotton flowers, they are much more.

Each of them has an own tag with a name and one code, a symbol "§" followed by a number!!!

Below you can see the tag that Silvia has received with her Blumeli.

Lili §1 is the first of several Lili and I will do the same for your Rufus, Heidi, Yuri...Lara

and....the Blumeli that are coming soon..;))))

It's fun. Seriously!!!!!!

I can't stop taking shots of them in the real world, they are so funny.

And I'm quite sure you will do the same soon...;))))!!!!

It would be a pleasure to share your shots of my Blumeli and follow them around the world!!!!

Here is how to join My Blumeli Shots Gallery as fan:

1- Have fun with your Blumeli !!!!! If you don't have one yet, you can find them in my shop Sara Arts at Da Wanda.

2- Take four pictures of your new friend, my Blumeli of course..;))): at home, around your place, on Holidays,....!!! Resize your photos so they are less than 150KB in size.

3 - Write me using my contact page and submit your images with: your Blumeli name, its code, the location. I will post them as poster on my blog and my Blumeli Shots Gallery on my Flickr.  Just write something like this in your mail: " Silvia and Lili §1 in Madrid", as Silvia did. So I can put it as caption!!!!! 
Don’t forget to allow me to use your pictures, I need your permit written by mail. If they are public let me know about, I will add the link to your poster or as caption.

I will publish a post with a poster of your shots on my blog and add it in my “Blumeli Shots Gallery" on my Flickr as soon as possible.

If you are a fan and have a blog/site, here is how you might do:

1- Have fun with your Blumeli, first of all !!!!! If you don't have one yet, you can find them in my shop Sara Arts at Da Wanda.

Have a safe trip, Rufus and Lara!!!!!

Today at 9.13am I was in the post office for Rufus §1 and Lara, in blue and white. 

They are moving to their new Sweet home!!!!! 

Now a friend among you is waiting for them..;)))))))

My next project is to open a page with a Photo Gallery dedicated to

“My Blumeli around the world”!!!!!!

So…if you have already a Blumeli, send me a picture by mail!!!!!!......I will add it to “My Blumeli around the world” Gallery. I will add it to my blog quite soon..;))))

Oggi esattamente alle 9.13  ho spedito il pacchettino contenete Rufus §1 e Lara, la deliziosa collana interamente in cotone blu e bianca. Raggiungeranno la loro nuova casa prestissimo!!!!! Dove qualcuno tra voi li sta aspettando impaziente..;))))))

Sono così felice ed non vedo l'ora di sapere se il viaggio è andato bene. Spero di ricevere presto loro notizie e foto, sarebbe stupendo vederli nella loro nuova città, in vacanza...o dove li porterà il cuore....!!!!...;))))

Il mio prossimo progetto è quello di inaugurare qui sul blog una pagina con una Galleria di Foto interamente dedicata a “My Blumeli around the world”!!!!!

Se avete già un Blumeli, cosa aspettate mandatemi una foto via mail!!!!....La aggiungerò alle altre...non vedo l’ora!!!!...Ci conto..;))))  Troverete tra pochi giorni una pagina a loro dedicata qui sul blog!!!!!!
